I am the type of person that eats desserts even if I am full. I know how to make space for them! Unfortunately, this is bad because sugar = addiction and addiction = cravings. It’s a vicious cycle that needs to be broken.
My favor favorite dessert is anything involving ice cream. I LOVE ice cream. I can literally spend an hour in the frozen aisle trying to choose what ice cream I want to eat. Luckily I found a little solution to that. It comes in the form of frozen banana bites and satisfies your craving within one or two of them.
Ingredients:
- Banana
- Almond Butter (Or whatever nut butter you prefer)
Preparation:
- Slice the banana up.
- Put some of your nut butter on one slice and top it with another creating a banana sandwich.
- Put them in a container lined with wax paper.
- Put the container in the freezer.
- Eat one or two whenever you feel a small craving!
How simple and easy was that? I found that whenever I would have a sweet tooth and my hunger was mostly because of a craving and not actually because I was hungry this would help me satisfy that. Both nut butters and banana are quite heavy, leaving you very satisfied.
