Nectarine Oat Crumble

Filling Ingredients:

  • 8: Medium/Large Nectarines
  • 1/4 Cup: sugar
  • 2 Tbsp: oat flour (you can also use regular flour)
  • 1 Tsp: cinnamon

Topping Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups: oat flour (or 1 cup regular flour)
  • 1/3 Cup: Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup: packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp: cinnamon
  • 1/8 Tsp: ground ginger
  • 1/4 Tsp: salt
  • 1/2 Cup: chilled unsalted butter

Preparations:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Starting with your topping, cut the butter into small cubes and add them to a bowl.
  • In the same bowl, add the rest of the topping ingredients.
  • Start to slowly and gently mix the ingredients with your hands while also squeezing the butter.
  • Continue until the mixture reaches a sandy and clumpy texture, and set aside.
  • Remove the pit and any stem residue from your Nectarines
  • Chop the Nectarines into small cubes
  • Place the cubed Nectarines in your baking dish and fold in your filling ingredients until well incorporated
  • Add the topping mixture on top.
  • Bake for about 45 min or until golden on the top.
  • Serve warm with a side of your favorite ice cream!
