As you all might have figured out by now, I love food. My love of pizza however, is completely different. Let’s put it this way – if you left me on an island where I had to eat one type of food for the rest of my life, I would choose pizza. I know, I know, I sound like a 5 year old that only eats pizza, hamburgers, fries, and soda.
Loving pizza like I do does not mean I have never disliked a pizza. On the contrary, I am extremely picky about my pizza. It HAS to be so good that even if I’m full, or there is none left I want to eat more! I also do have preferences, like thin crust over thick for example.
This weekend, I wanted pizza. I dreamed about it, woke up craving it, and kept pestering my friend about wanting to have it for lunch. At first I was simply going to order it, but that all changed when I was asked to cook. How I absolutely love hearing, “Oh! Can you PLEASE cook for me?” Still hung up on the idea that I was going to eat pizza for lunch, I simply asked if my friend wanted me to make the pizza from scratch instead of ordering one – the rest is history.
