I always like to go with a healthy option after a nice workout. Tonight I decided to go with seared tuna.
All you need is a tuna steak, seasoning, and a little salad.
Here is how i went about it:
Ingredients:
•Tuna steak
•Salt and Pepper
•Baby spinach
•Avocado
•Tomatoes
•Radish
•Juice from half a lemon
•Olive oil
Preparation:
•Put your baby spinach at the bottom of a soup plate.
•Cut your radish, avocado, and tomatoes. Add them on top of your spinach.
•Pour the lemon juice on top of your salad, then about the same amount of olive oil.
•Season with salt and pepper.
•Sprinkle salt and Pepper onto your tuna steak.
•Sear your tuna on a preheated pan, being careful not to over cook it—it is supposed to be raw on the inside!
•Once your tuna is seared, slice it with a sharp toothless knife—this will help you slice it easily, keeping it nice and pretty.
•Finally, top your salad with your tuna and enjoy!
