I love simple dishes that are quick and easy to make but are also full of flavor! An ideal meal that is both healthy and delicious is my garlic shrimp with a simple salad.
•The way I make my shrimp is that I barely boil the shrimp (it should already be deveined and cleaned).
•After you have boiled the shrimp, put some oil and sauté some crushed garlic.
•Once the garlic is just golden, add the shrimp and cook until water disappears.
•Add the juice of half a lemon, some salt, and some pepper.
• Finally add in a couple of slices of lemon, this helps keep that tangy flavor and doubles up as decoration.
•Something that would also give this dish a lot of flavor is a little bit of cilantro but this is always optional.
The salad is relatively simple to do. With this dish I usually like to have mixed field greens and baby spinach. I like to add some sliced radish, avocado cut in cubes, and sliced tomatoes. The dressing keeps the two dishes in sync because I use a simple lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper dressing.
